I feel that I must write and tell you how you the Sure Step cane has greatly improved the quality of my life.
I am 57 years old and have suffered from the after effects of Polio since I was two. Luckily, during my youth I was not hindered by this disease to any great extent, but as the years have pasted, post-polio has severely limited my physical capabilities, especially walking.
My favorite leisure activity is deer hunting and I had decided that last season would be the end of that recreational activity, due to falling with a regular cane as I was crossing a cornfield. During the off season, I thought about different ways I could overcome this problem of falling while on soft or rough terrain and designed my own cane by tracing my shoe onto a 2X6 piece of wood and then cut a cane handle to attach it to. This worked to a degree, but as you can guess, there was no "movement" with the foot. It was pick-up and plop down. One evening I was on the Internet looking for canes, when I came across your web site and found the answer to my problem, your product.
Since July, my mobility has been greatly enhanced because of the Sure Step. This hunting season, I have gone across fields of all types with no problems. On the job, I can now walk on the tile that is wet without the fear of the cane slipping and causing a fall. It has given me much added self-confidence in my abilities to continue my recreational activities, as well as being able to do my job without worry of injury.
Thank you for your advancement in mobility for the physically handicapped.

I have spent twelve years needing various degrees of assistive devices. About eight years ago, I happened upon the Sure Foot forearm. This is similar to the Sure Foot cane with the extra security of being able to rest your forearms as you walk, which adds to the stability of the support and takes pressure off of hands and wrists. However, the true gem of the cane is the foot, the rectangular pivoting foot with a rubberized sole has been secure on wet, uneven ground and brought back ability to feel secure in my footing and balance in most circumstances.
This is absolutely an all terrain cane in my experience. But more importantly, its made me feel secure in my home, getting out of a chair or my bed. I live in a great climate but, when it rains, traditional canes or crutches slip right from under me. The Sure Foot is not foolproof in the rain, but neither are our own feet. It has allowed me to do things like walk in the rain to a grocery store and actually walk on those slippery grocery store floors with some confidence. The Sure Foot does add, as corny as it sounds, extra feet.
In my eight years of using the Sure Foot forearms, I never leave the house without some random medical professional stopping me, writing down the canes' information so they can recommend it to their patients or a loved one. It's a very smart design. After daily use for eight years, I have no complaints. My only regret is that I didn't discover Sure Foot in the first four years of my disability.

Dad is stable on his feet now and loves the fact that his cane stands up waiting for his next move. LOVE this cane.

Great walking cane, very flexible, moves like your foot does and no sticking to the ground. You can move from smooth sidewalk to uneven bumpy ground. This is my third cane, would not be without it.

This cane is even better than I had hoped for my disabled husband (79 years of age). Working out very well. Took a little bit to get used to it after using a regular cane for eight years, but it is wonderful and highly recommended.

The perfect cane to ensure your loved one will be safer on all kinds of pavements and in all kinds of weather. It has a rough surface on the rectangular bottom of the cane, which helps to ensure their safety. I purchased one for my brother and a friend, and they use them all the time instead of the regular, small rubber tip cane bottom. I highly recommend purchasing one of these!

Both my husband and I have had this cane for several years and would not be without them. The current purchases were gifts to relatives that we care about. Worth every penny.

My dad saw someone in a store with this cane and asked her questions about it right there. She even let him try it. I ordered it right away for him and he absolutely loves it, brags to everyone who asks him about it. I personally feel he is a lot more stable on his feet now and he can't get the tip stuck in a grate anymore. Hands down, best cane I have seen him use and would invite you to give it a try. Dad uses it more than his walker it is so stable. It is a big relief to me to have him safer when he walks. I even borrowed it to see what I thought and felt when the time comes for me, this will be the product to buy. Built very sturdy and comfortable grip and design.

This cane has enhanced my mobility and independence. It's easier to use and more lightweight than a four prong cane, more stable than a regular cane, and the rocking motion that moves with you feels more natural. I would recommend this product to a friend.

A friend has one of these and swore by it. My husband is a stroke victim, and this cane is superb for the feeling of safety so necessary to him. It is like having an extra foot. If anyone needs a cane for any reason, this is the best one you can buy. Sure Foot All-Terrain Cane.......the only one you'll ever need.

Having been in a wheelchair for four months and then traditional crutches for two months, I found the Strutters to be a refreshing alternative for those of us who understand the challenges of assisted walking and who long for a greater sense of independence.
There are many reasons to praise the genius of the Strutter design, but let me offer two from my personal experience:
On my first day of having the Strutters, an ice storm blanketed Washington. As you know, ice and snow instill great fear in those forced to walk with crutches. However, the Strutters negotiated the ice with tremendous effectiveness and stability, giving me confidence and the peace of mind to venture into the elements.
The second aspect is how well the Strutters work on wet surfaces. On one rainy day last year, I took a bad fall when my conventional crutch pads slipped on the marble floors made wet from some dripping umbrellas. The inch-and-a-half round tip acted like it was made of grease. Yet, when I walked on the same wet marble floors with the Strutters, I had no such anxiety. The non-skid sole made a world of difference in gripping the surface.
In conclusion, the Strutters are a revolutionary alternative to conventional crutches, providing comfort, stability and peace of mind. To those tired of using ordinary crutches, I think they will find this product to be a welcome change.
